    Lead Consultant (TS/SCI with Poly)

    McLean, VA Description We are seeking an experienced consultant to conduct a variety of tasks of a changing nature based on the needs of the end customer
    The research tasks including but not limited to: delivery of models, summary reports or datasets, data tables, and graphics, meeting minutes, focus group sessions, surveys, memos, and briefing packages
    Key Responsibilities Using state-of-the-art knowledge, skills, and techniques, the consultant shall:


    • Be skilled at survey design, execution, and analysis
    Surveys may include work force satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and process evaluation.


    • Have experience in data visualization work which may include developing effective graphics to convey an analytic message by elegantly displaying trends in data in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
    • Conduct research on personnel, production, customer satisfaction, strategic planning, organizational development, expertise development, and recruiting.
    • Present research findings on various topics to senior client leadership.
    • Participate in senior leadership briefings including Question & Answer sessions.
    • Develop, conduct and analyze customer surveys.
    • Assist the DA in developing practical approaches for measuring performance.
    • Develop, coordinate, and run focus groups on various issues
    The consultant shall be responsible for participant selection and contact, question formulation, facilitation, and data analysis.


    • Create visual images to convey analysis and communicate data in an easily understandable, elegant, and aesthetically pleasing manner.
    • Analyze data; maintain Quality Evaluation Program (QEP), metrics, and/or survey databases; and perform statistical analyses of survey data.
    • Develop, coordinate, and run focus groups on various issues
    The consultant shall be responsible for participant selection and contact, question formulation, facilitation, and data analysis.


    • Analyze both qualitative and quantitative information to provide the customer with comprehensive insights into organizational strengths and challenge areas
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Social Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or Graphic Design (or related discipline) is required or an Associate's Degree and 8 total years of work experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to brief high-level customers

    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills (graphics, charts, and Power Point) to present data in various forms.
    • Experience developing presentations and providing briefings to middle and senior management
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including visual representation of data using charts and graphs
    • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
    Ability to perform in an individual contributor role while also excelling in a team environment Desired Qualifications:


    • A Master's degree in Business Consulting, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or Behavioral Sciences.
    • Familiarity with creating and running focus groups on a variety of issues such as performance management, expertise development, and strategic direction.
    • Skilled in survey design and execution
    Surveys may include work force satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and process evaluation.


    • US Citizenship
    • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
    • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
