- Assist with strategic planning and implementation of multiple peer review competitions annually.
- Interpret notices inviting applications, selection criteria, and program statutes.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, staffing models, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to agency-specific peer review protocols.
- Manage conflict of interest (COI) screening and documentation.
- Manage secure distribution and storage of confidential materials.
- Serve as functional lead for review platforms.
- Monitor application assignments.
- Prepare funding slate summaries, panel notes, and official score reports.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation in alignment with federal contract requirements.
- Lead status meetings and provide executive-level reporting.
- Conduct surveys and produce final reports.
- Produce the final honoraria reports.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience with federal or state grant programs preferred.
- Ability to evaluate proposals objectively against structured criteria.
- Proficiency in virtual meeting platforms and online review systems.
- Ability to dedicate focused time during scheduled review windows.
- Must have dedicated access to a computer with a minimum of MS 2020 and a dedicated high-speed internet connection.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with federal programs.
- Strong understanding of federal grants lifecycle and discretionary grant processes.
- Experience working with and managing complex and high-paced efforts.

- Experience with Federal grant review technology.
- Experience managing hybrid or fully virtual review models.

The qualified applicant will be responsible for the end-to-end management of federal grant peer review competitions. This role leads planning, execution, compliance oversight, reviewer recruitment, panel coordination, and reporting for large-scale discretionary grant programs with a primary focus on competitions administered by the U.S. Department of Education and other federal agencies.
The ideal candidate thrives in deadline-driven environments, understands federal grant regulations, and can manage complex, multi-panel review processes with precision and integrity.
