    Description

    Job Title: Counselor Full Time

    Location: Inspira Berlin, Castle Partial Program

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day time

    Target Audience: Children ages 4-17 in behavioral health

    Salary: $20-$22 per hour with full benefits

    Requirements:

    • Must have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
    • Experience with children in behavioral and mental health.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
    • Facilitates regular therapeutic groups addressing treatment issues.
    • Provides observational feedback within the team context.
    • Accurately records daily patient progress and completes required paperwork.
    • Assists in transporting patients to and from the program.
    • Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
    • Performs all other assigned duties.

    Qualifications:

    • BA in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.

    • Employee must be able to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly.
    • Must use hands for various tasks and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Requires good vision abilities and physical mobility.
