- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up living spaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Accompanied clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor clients' physical and mental health status, reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors to ensure each client's individualized needs are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to promote the health and well-being of clients and yourself.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable, if not we offer the training.
- Minimum 1 year experience required.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to assist clients with mobility and other physical tasks.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required for the position).
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
