    Devoted to providing enterprise-wide coordination and preparation of the Citys budget including research, assessment, analysis and evaluation of programs, expenditures, revenues and other fiscal analyses. This is an entry-level professional position assigned to the Citys enterprise budget and management analysis function. Decision-making includes selecting the method to address a problem or issue, subject to the constraints established by management objectives and direction.

    Responsible for assisting with developing the annual budget, to include performing routine technical analysis, research and reporting; gathering and analyzing data; monitoring budgets; preparing cost-benefit analyses; performing special projects; and analyzing information to develop conclusions and recommendations.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    + Develops the annual budget, to include performing routine technical analysis, research, and reporting; monitors budgets; and researches and assesses information related to programs and community needs.

    + Analyzes fiscal, management and productivity information; prepares cost-benefit analyses; analyzes data and develops conclusions and recommendations.

    + Prepares and reviews fiscal, technical and other documentation including reports, contracts, and agreements .

    + E nsures accuracy and completeness of work and compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

    + C oordinates City departments and external agencies; recommends collaborative solutions .

    + Collaborates with City departments to provide analytical information .

    + Leads and assists with special projects including process improvements, in-depth analyses, benchmarking, and strategic planning.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    + Bachelors degree in accounting, business or public administration, or directly related field OR equivalent experience.

    + One year of related financial or management analysis or internship experience.
