- This position reports directly to the General Manager
- Develop and execute menus for our cafe, special events, and immersive dining experiences
- Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of all dishes
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the dining experience are of the highest quality
- Maintain inventory and manage food & labor costs to ensure profitability
- Stay current with industry trends and competitive information to identify opportunities for growth
- Manage the kitchen staff and be responsible for hiring, training and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety & handling regulations.
- Maintain a clean kitchen environment.
- lead menu tastings and presentations with the corporate and management team
- Proven culinary experience, ideally as a sous chef or in a similar supervisory role, with a desire to take on management responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability in leading a team, training staff, and managing kitchen operations
- Familiarity with budget management, food safety regulations, and efficient kitchen operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and feed large parties with your team
- Culinary degree from an accredited culinary school is a plus

Job Overview
Electric Playhouse is seeking an innovative and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. This role is central to providing a diverse array of food offerings, ranging from our casual cafe meals, birthday pizza parties, corporate events, and spearheading our signature immersive dining experiences. Our immersive fine dining experiences blend art, technology and fine dining to create a unique 4-5 course culinary journey for our guests. This position requires a dynamic leader and team player who thrives in a creative, fast-paced setting and is passionate about pushing culinary boundaries.
