Description

Cox Communications is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Data Science team within the Analytics Center of Excellence.

This role will be responsible for advanced analytics solutions design and implementations. The Senior Data Scientist is required to be a proven advanced analytics developer to drive solution delivery at scale.
What You'll Do
Design and develop production grade analytics applications

Continuous development and improvement of data model, quality, and supporting applications for the ACoE graph database to facilitate ML model development and other analytics applications

Identify opportunities for automation, knowledge discovery, decision-making, insights, optimization, and new capabilities

Develop frameworks and apply best practices to mature analytics solutions from proof of concept to prototype to production

Keep up to date on new technologies, standards and practices

Design, implement, test, prototype, and deploy ML (machine learning), DP (deep learning), AI (artificial intelligence), and NLP (natural language processing) applications to produce value from Cox Communications' unstructured and structured data assets

Minimum
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field.

The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.

D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field

interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

Strong programming skills and ability to utilize a variety of data/analytic software/languages/tools; e.g.,Tableau, AWS, Python.

Deep knowledge of the mathematical and computational concepts behind advanced analytics algorithms

Experience using cloud computing to build analytics applications and enterprise level AI/ML solutions

Strong communication skills. The ability to successfully comprehend and communicate advanced analytics artifacts, business insights, and resulting implications to non-technical business partners. Ability to work in a diverse team.
