    Behavioral Health Technician


    Expected Pay:

    Full-time, onsite position

    Our Behavioral Health Technicians make a meaningful difference in the lives of teenagers in need of compassionate care and support.

    We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about promoting mental wellness and providing support to teenagers and their families facing dynamic challenges back at home.


    As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for our clients to grow, develop and apply transferable coping skills, and reconnect with peers, themselves, and their families using our proven and effective therapeutic approach.

    Responsibilities


    • Ensure Client Safety
    o Supervision of client emotional and physical safety

    o Provide early intervention ahead of and during emotional and behavioral crises

    o Maintain personal and professional boundaries


    • Align and Operate within the Treatment Team's Approach for Each Client
    o Attend to daily Treatment Team direction for updates on client treatment protocol application

    o Communicate and collaborate with supervisors and clinicians regarding client issues and notable progress

    o Document client progress notes daily


    • Provide Quality and Engaging Client Services
    o Encourage client engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

    o Coach and develop client social skills

    o Plan and facilitate client activities in art, music, yoga, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities


    • Grow and Develop with the Residential Team
    o Practice a growth mindset with focus and application of the company core values

    o Integrate specialized trainings

    o Enjoy and contribute to ongoing professional development and growth

    Qualifications

    What do you bring to this position?


    • 21+ years of age or older
    • A high school diploma or equivalent and one year's experience in the human services field may be substitute for the required two years of completed college education.
    • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen in concordance with Montana state laws
    • Ability to pass federal and state background checks
    • Current Montana driver's license or ability to obtain a Montana driver's license upon hire
    • Ability to perform CPR and First Aid
    • Ability to apply provided training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention with an upset or combative client
    • Preferred - one year of experience working with adolescent populations
    • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to program or daily adjustments
    • Seeking EMT candidate to use your skills in a different way to support adolescents in a mental health treatment program, preferred but not required.
