- Safety: Learn and comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules, ensure that unsafe conditions are reported to the Service Manager or Community Manager, attend regularly scheduled safety meetings, review SDS sheets, handle all chemicals according to recommendations and requirements, and follow pertinent laws related EPA and OSHA regulations.
- Administrative: Provide completed service requests to office team for completion in operating system, document appropriate information regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, make-ready punch lists, and other work assigned.
- Resident Relations: Maintain positive customer service attitude, deal with resident concerns and requests in a timely manner, and follow through with distribution of all company or community-issued notices.
- Community Engagement: Assist with community inspections, provide support to Service Manager and staff, participate in weekly/daily staff meetings, and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in property maintenance or equivalent field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, pools, and general maintenance
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, mechanical equipment, and PPE
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Work as part of a team, as well as complete assignments independently
- Deliver high-level customer service skills for interaction with residents, vendors, and co-workers
- Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Available a minimum of 40 hours per week
