Description

Swan Lake Resort is looking to add to our Kitchen Operations team and have an opening for a dishwasher. The dishwasher is a very important team member in the kitchen and is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standard for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.

Job Responsibilities

Observe all safety and security procedures.

Use equipment and material properly and report potentially unsafe conditions.

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.

Sort and stack clean dishes, carry them to cook line and other proper storage areas.

Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.

Wash pots, pans and trays by hand if necessary.

Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.

Set up or break down dish washing area.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

16 years old or older.

Lifting and transporting at least 50 pounds.

Requires standing, walking and bending throughout the shift.

Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
