Madison Hunt is partnered with a PE backed energy transition developer, owner, and operator who are looking to hire an Associate, Strategic Finance. The platform is an industry leading business and is a part of a larger, diversified investment group. Due to the lean team nature, this hire will have direct access to upper management and the ability to work closely with the larger management team sitting within the equity sponsor. They have swift implementation through proven processes, strong experience, and immediate access to capital.

Essential functions include development & construction, corporate development, and financial modeling/reporting.

Qualification:

• 1-4 years professional experience working within investment banking (M&A/project finance), corporate development, and/or private equity, focusing on infrastructure and/or energy
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex information, financial statements, and legal documents
• Strong excel/financial modeling skills
• Knowledge of corporate finance a plus
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
