Job DescriptionExperienced Machinist needed at a leading manufacturer of aircraft storage components. The Machinist must have experience with Press Brake set up and operation. The Machinist will be responsible for bending, forming, and shaping metal sheets and plates according to specifications. This is a full time, Furst-to-Hire opportunity, located in Harvard, IL.Hours: 7am to 3:20pm, Mon-FriPay: $17-$25/hour DOEBenefits: Health, Dental, Paid Time Off, 401k PlanMachinist Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate iron worker machines to bend and form metal parts
• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specs
• Select appropriate tooling/punches and dies for each job
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, stroke length, and back gauge position
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality production
• Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measure
• Make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
• Perform routine maintenance on machines as required

Machinist Requirements:

• Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Knowledge of plasma cutting, stamping press, lathe, shear, and crane operations is a plus
• Previous welding experience preferred
