    Job DescriptionThe Director of Therapy is responsible for all clinical operations and evaluation of clinical practice, in the designated branch/office, according to Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern this agency.

    The Director of Therapy will provide leadership, coordination, and day-to-day management for all aspects of the assigned clinical responsibilities in a manner that ensures high quality, cost-effective care.

    He or she will perform activities that contribute to the achievement of the companys strategic goals and initiatives. Daily organization and provision of individual therapists and other services will be assigned or required.

    Clinical ResponsibilitiesClinical Documentation Oversight Evaluate, Co-Facilitate & Approve Assigned Documentation in Accordance and Quality Measures with Agency, Payer and Licensing Board Requirements.

    Educate Clinician and Non-Clinician Employees in the Above.
    Mentor/Facilitate Field Therapists in Appropriate Services, Documentation, Safety, Communication, Software Utilization, Supervision of Assistant Requirements and Licensing Requirements. Educate Non-clinicians, Clients, Business Partners, etc. in Benefits and Process of Therapy Evaluation, Payer Authorization and Treatment.

    Supervision of Clinical Supervisors, Licensed Therapists & Licensed Therapist Assistants Initiate Performance Evaluations and Disciplinary Actions as Required and Assists in the Coordination and the Development of Staff Consistent with Program Goals, Needs and Policies.

    Develop and Implement Program Curriculum Including Training and Evaluation of Staff Competencies and Adherence to Program DesignSupervision of a Therapist Assistant(s) Direct and Indirect Supervision of One or More Therapist Assistants.

    Completing Initial Evaluations and Re-Evaluations, Supervisory Visits, Individual Routine Visits as AssignedOther Other Clinical Requirements Assigned by SupervisorOperational ResponsibilitiesSystemic Process Knowledge, Understanding, and Training of the Electronic Medical Record, the Referral/Client Process From Referral to Discharge,Employee Supervision Supervise managers and staff including employee performance reviews, rewards, and disciplinary actions of employees .

    Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff .

    Instill vision and values of AOC in all employees within branches and field staff overseenInvolvement and Participation in Marketing/Recruiting Events, Interviewing & Orientation of New Hire Licensed Therapists, Licensed Therapist Assistants and Non Clinical StaffCompliance Quarterly Review and Supervision of Audits, Policies and Procedures, Compliance Forms, and Reporting as Assigned.


    Reports Monthly:

    Billable Visits, Start of Care Assessments, Therapist New Hires, and Other Weekly/Daily Reports Associated w/Job ResponsibilitiesUp to Date Standard Testing Kits and other Therapy Equipment.

    Appropriate Check-Out TrackingOther Other Tasks, Trainings, Corporate Office Meetings, Assigned by SupervisorRequirementsGraduate of a curriculum in physical, occupational or speech therapy.

    Currently licensed by the state of Arizona to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist.
