- 6 to 7 years' experience
- Engineering Degree preferably an ME degree.
- Medical device experience, a big plus would be with active implants.
- Experience transferring product from R&D to commercialization.
- Experience managing or working with Contract Manufacturers.
- Experience in Process validation.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to support ongoing production.
- Able to lead cross functional teams. (CMO and Internal Engineers)

Our client is transferring product from R&D to commercialization for a new product version being released and is in need of a MFG Process Engineer. This person will be working with their CMO and their internal engineering team. The primary focus of the role will be process driven - there will be a mix of equipment (belongs to CMO) and product oversight. Will need high level experience with Process Validation.
This person must be a strong communicator. This person will be required to be on-site at the CMO in MN for several weeks at a time. There may be trips to the client location in Carlsbad, CA.
