    This is an intermediate hands-on programming position that is responsible for providing high quality technical service to business departments supported by this unit.

    The Programming Analyst II proactively takes ownership of system production issues and development projects as assigned by the EASS Manager.

    This position will be actively involved in new development, gathering requirements, preparing design documents, programming and testing of technical solutions.

    Acting as project lead for small to medium sized projects, this position will manage the planning and execution of the project to ensure a successful completion.


    Understanding the importance of patches and upgrades in an ERP environment, this position will also assist with the technical maintenance of the various ERP application systems, smaller vendor applications, and interfaces between the various systems.

    This position will provide support for either the Oracle Financial environment or the Sungard system.

    In addition, the programmer analyst will ensure integration with the Luminis Portal and many of our ancilliary systems which include products such as Workflow, CRM systems such as Sphere and iModules, and payment applications such as CashNet.

    Requirement:


    • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
    • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst or equivalent in an information systems development environment.
    • 68 years' experience with strongtoexpert Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
    • Proven track record in developing and supporting strategies and work plans for providing Integrated ERP technology solutions, as well as keeping an ERP environment operating at optimal performance and responsive to future and current needs.
    • Hands on experience with BI Publisher (XML Publisher) in developing AP/Payroll Checks and other customer facing documents like Purchase Order, W2, 1099 etc.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:


    • Experience supporting various users in a production.
    • Experience in handling and supporting patches and upgrades in a production environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to diagnose/resolve technical problems independently.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical staff as well as nontechnical users.
    A Plus:


    • Knowledge on Cognos Reporting, Noetix Report and Banner Document Management Suite.
    • Knowledge of database technical architecture, APIs, middle tier integration, webservices (SOAP, RESTful), and integration with products such as Sungard applications, Oracle applications, CBORD applications, various CRM applications, Luminis Portal, ODS/Cognos Reporting, and Banner Document Management Suite.
