EIS IT Consulting is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect for a full-time consulting role with the IT Consulting Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing and accomplished team in support of our client projects.
While this role is largely remote, we prefer someone who is local to the Cleveland, OH area.

Azure Infrastructure Architect

Position Summary:


The Azure Infrastructure Architect is responsible in assisting EIS to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions for our clients.

They are responsible for analyzing the business requirements, creating the architecture diagrams, selecting the appropriate Azure services and tools, and ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure, while collaborating with other cloud engineers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the client's needs and expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure services such as virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, app services,functions, containers, etc.
• Ensure the compliance of the cloud infrastructure with the industry standards and best practices, such as security, performance, availability, and disasterrecovery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project teams and clients on the cloud architecture, design, and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the cloud infrastructure issues and incidents and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in the cloud technology and Azure platform.
• Prepare and maintain the technical documentation and reports for the cloud infrastructure projects.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.(Equivalent experience and certification will also be considered.)
• Minimum years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent. Azure experience including Azure Governance, Security, Azure Networking, Monitoring andManagement.
• Strong knowledge and skills in Azure services, tools, and technologies, such as Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, etc.
• Proficient in cloud architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, such as microservices, serverless, containers, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge deploying and supporting Microsoft products such as SharePoint, Teams, Defender, InTune / Endpoint Management and others.
• Experience and familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or other tools,infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Azure CLI, PowerShell, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
