As a Quality Engineer focused on In-Process Validation (IPV) you will provide general support to the Clayton, NC Operations team.
**Specifically in this role you can expect to:**
+ Work with suppliers regarding defective material
+ Help drive to root cause for defects and ensure corrective actions are in place
+ Follow up and close Quality Alerts for defective material
+ Provide line support for various tests
+ Machine/system troubleshooting (electrical, electronic, hydraulic, communications, etc.)
+ Work closely with engineering to prepare factory systems for current product and NPI (new product introduction)
**A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:**
+ **Problem So** **lv** ing: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Root Cause Analysis (RCA):** Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.
+ **Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies** : Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
**Top Candidates for this position may also have:**
+ Hands on experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems and/or components, including reading electrical schematics
+ Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related technical field
+ Hands on experience working on and troubleshooting other complex machine systems (hydraulic, engine, powertrain)
+ Experience with Small Wheel Loader (SWL) Bill of Material configurations
+ Manufacturing experience
+ Experience documenting standard work
+ Validation of out of process work confirming safety and quality exceed expectation
+ In Process Validation (IPV) and/or test experience
+ Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and react to changing priorities
+ Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees
