    Description

    With 28 years of dedicated service in family law, Castellanos & Associates, APLC, located in Downtown Los Angeles, seeks a skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our team. This role is integral in supporting our attorneys and staff, providing a robust legal and administrative foundation for our operations.

    Responsibilities:

    · Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings for domestic violence cases, Requests for Orders, and trial preparation.

    · Manage administrative tasks for attorneys, including preparation of Judicial Council Forms and client communications.

    · Engage in client relations and communicate with opposing counsel and court staff.

    · Prepare detailed legal documents such as declarations and disclosure, declarations, and handle all aspects of the discovery process.

    Qualifications:

    · A minimum of 2 years of experience in family law or comparable civil litigation employment.

    · Fluency in Spanish.

    · Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    · Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.

    · A Paralegal Certificate or a college degree is preferred but not required.

    Technical Skills:

    · Familiarity with TimeMatters, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and TimeSlips is a plus.

    Compensation:

    · Competitive salary based on experience.
