    Havtech's Commercial Distribution team is currently looking to hire a Technical Support Advisor.

    This role would be responsible for delivering high level customer support by responding to customer inquiries or questions regarding Commercial Distribution services or products lines and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

    This position is a great fit for a candidate with a strong technical HVAC background interested in a customer support focused role.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.


    Other functions may be assigned:
    Provide technical support to contractors via our technical support phone line.
    Build rapport with contractors and clients to ensure an excellent customer service experience.
    Responds to customer's inquiries or questions regarding products or services.
    Possesses knowledge of the product lines to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers.

    Visit jobsites to serve as a Havtech and Daikin product representative and to help provide information and guidance to technicians and/or clients on site, as needed.

    Attend any necessary training to become a subject matter expert on Havtech's unitary product and systems.
    Partner with Havtech Learning Institute's leaders to eventually help provide training for all key HVAC unitary products and services.

    Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience as HVAC Technician, or 1-3 years serving as technical support.
    Proficient knowledge of HVAC light commercial and residential products and systems (unitary and ductless).
    Proficient knowledge of HVAC light commercial and residential application, installation, and service troubleshooting (unitary and ductless).
    Journeyman's License in HVAC strongly preferred.
    Strong communication and organizational skills.
    Attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet competing high priority deadlines.
    Ability to make critical decisions independently in fast paced environment.
    Handles emergency phone and customer service duties as necessary.
