    Newborn Hearing Screen Technician Overview

    Make a difference in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns.

    You will work on-site at one or more hospital locations to screen newborns for hearing loss. Pediatrix provides annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology, ensuring employees are adept in improving early detection of hearing impairments and encouraging timely intervention.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Conduct newborn hearing screens usually in a new mom's hospital room.
    • Educate parents about the importance of the screen using video and printed tools provided.
