Description:
The client is accelerating its transformation of its omnichannel commercial capabilities as well as being a data-driven organization with increased customer focus. This transformation requires improving processes and IT systems to provide seamless experiences.
Product Owner – Customer master data is the primary IT point of contact for customer master data product which combines multiple platforms such as Veeva Network or SAP Customer Master Data. This role will initially focus on improving business account master data management, then evolve to cover person accounts as well.
Role & Responsibilities
• Own Customer master data product space, own delivery of feature and process improvements for creating/maintaining business account customer data
• Define and prioritize product features in collaboration with the Product Manager and business partners
• Create and maintain the product backlog, working closely with the development teams to refine and estimate backlog items.
• Responsible for the creation, review and refinement of User Stories and ensuring that they meet a Definition of Ready
• Facilitate proactive status, risk, communication management to ensure successful delivery of product
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the development teams, clarifying requirements, answering questions, and providing technical guidance.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of product features, defining acceptance criteria, facilitating quality and acceptance tests, and validating product quality.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating product updates, progress, changes and addressing concerns or feedback.
• Learn and have a deep understanding of the details of the customer data in the global system landscape
• Have a deep understanding on how the components of the landscape interact with each other (via automated and/or manaul processes).
• Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement, closely collaborating with the Product Managers, Architects , other Product owners, engineers to monitor and analyze product performance, security, and cost measures, and identify areas for optimization.
• Act as the System Custodian for customer master data
• Educate stakeholders on product capabilities and insights.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems ) or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Delivery Lead, preferably having agile certification and/or real-world experience working in an agile delivery team.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and managing expectations.
• Strong experience in Customer Master Data Management platforms/modules, such as Veeva Network, SAP DMR
• Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong prioritization and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lead through influence and elicit requirements from business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, global work environment, and the ability to work on multiple time-sensitive initiatives.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working in complex, diverse landscapes (business, technology, regulatory, partners, providers, geographies, etc.).

Would like someone to have a strong background in CRM (Veeva/Salesforce) who also knows SAP. They aren't doing the hands on execution but more problem solving and solutioning. CRM Master Data Management is a big plus for the backgorund.
