- Service Delivery: Provide business exit planning services to financial advisors. Collaborate with a community of advisors interested in offering business exit planning, building a pipeline of investment banking referrals. Contribute to the development, launch, and delivery of business exit planning services, including exit strategy development, business valuation, succession planning, and client education.
- Referral Network: Maintain and expand the referral network of high-net-worth service providers, including investment banking, business advisory, OTC hedging, and monetization services. Utilize investment banking referral partners to support advisors with small to mid-sized business clients seeking M&A and debt advisory services.
- Public Speaking & Communication: Engage in public speaking opportunities, including webinars, conference calls, staff meetings, and main-stage presentations at conferences. Represent the organization at external conferences, events, and industry functions. Deliver excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strategic Collaboration: Interact with other areas of the firm, including Legal, Compliance, and Relationship Management. Participate in strategic discussions with leadership.
- Education: Bachelors degree Professional certifications such as CEPA, CEP, CFP, or CPA
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in financial services Minimum of 3 years in business exit planning Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses
- Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of personal financial planning and financial services products Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple disciplines and product lines Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly collaborative with experience servicing affluent and institutional clients Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Software/Systems Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce
- Preferences: Experience in executive compensation and concentrated stock risk management
