- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 -5 years rolling experience in rod or bar mill
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively before groups of employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unity of measure
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be capable of using personal computer and Microsoft software
- Assertive and goal-oriented
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in stressful or challenging situations
- Organized and can multi-task multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to interface effectively with other members of supervision, personnel from other departments, and ISWA personnel
- Capable of supervising employees according to union rules and regulations

- Occasionally required to walk or sit and use hands to feel, handle, or reach with hands and arms

Essential duties and responsibilities: Supervisor Rod Mill production crew to ensure best quality, safety, and production results. Complete shift reports. Communicate effectively with crew concerning safety, quality, and production issues. Coordinate with Lower Reform foreman. Conduct any and all extra duties assigned by the General Foreman.
Supervisory responsibilities: Supervise approximately 13 union employees.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

PAY RANGE: $59,397 - $74,246
