    Senior Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst

    Contract to Hire (12 Month Contract)

    Clearwater, FL - Hybrid 50%

    Position Overview:

    In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying challenges, and proposing effective software solutions for complex, high-profile, or enterprise-level projects. The primary focus will be on the SFDC-CPQ software platform. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in Salesforce, demonstrating the ability to distinguish between custom solutions and configuration-based options. This position plays a crucial role in engaging with implementation partners, ensuring a thorough understanding of Salesforce capabilities, and providing guidance on the decision-making process between customization and out-of-the-box solutions. Preferred qualifications include experience with and a background in large-scale SFDC-CPQ deployments, along with the associated responsibilities related to such deployments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Salesforce Configuration and Administration
    • SFDC standard report and dashboard creation
    • Requirements documentation
    • Be a Voice for our client offering guidance on the choice between customization and off-the shelf solution during CPQ configuration-customization-long term support decisions.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on CPQ best practices and optimizations with implementation partner and our clients user base.
    • Direct involvement in CPQ Configuration as required throughout the project.
    • Understand and communicate data migration steps and risks to normalize disparate data into SFDC-CPQ
    • Be a SFDC-CPQ train the trainer resource for our business partners.
    • Collaborate with business representatives to develop complete and comprehensive requirements for applications and systems.
    • Proactively assess and communicate business and/or system risk.
    • Proactively Assess improvement opportunities which align with business strategy.
    • Partner regularly with SMEs and business leads to communicate application change progress, priorities, risks and opportunities.
    • Formulate artifacts, including but not limited to, business needs assessments, process flows and information system configurations. Stay abreast of new and future business needs and track and report impact of changes to interdependent systems.
    • Feed suggestions for improving workflows into the business community.
    • Ability to manage new business domains with confidence.
    • Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc.
    • Diagnose primary and alternative solutions for stakeholder evaluation.
    • Identify value proposition gaps of current and proposed solutions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration).
    • Salesforce Administrator and CPQ certifications are highly desirable.
    • Proven experience in Salesforce configuration and administration, with a strong emphasis on CPQ.
    • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and the ability to discern between custom and configuration-based solutions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Salesforce Administrator and CPQ certifications are highly desirable.
    • Proven experience in Salesforce configuration and administration, with a strong emphasis on CPQ.
    • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and the ability to discern between custom and configuration-based solutions.
