Job Summary

The Poolside Attendant ensures timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guests in the pool area while maintaining high standards of quality and service. This position supports servers and kitchen staff to create a seamless and enjoyable poolside dining experience. It requires excellent coordination, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced outdoor environment. This is a seasonal position starting May 25th until September 7th. Hiring age starts at 15 years oid.

Job Responsibilities

· Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the poolside guests.

· Verify that orders are complete and meet quality standards before delivery.

· Communicate with kitchen staff and servers about order modifications or updates.

· Provide support to pool servers by refilling water, clearing plates, or resetting tables as needed.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside service stations, trays, and serving areas.

· Ensure proper handling of food and beverages, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

· Assist with setting up and breaking down the pool service area such as umbrellas, tables and chairs, including stocking supplies.

· Address guest inquiries courteously or direct them to the appropriate staff member.

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility successfully. This person much present a neat appearance and have a warm, cheerful personality. Tact and good judgment are especially beneficial characteristics. This person must also possess the knowledge, skill, and ability to carry out the job responsibilities.   • Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry heavy trays or plates as required.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during peak pool hours..

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for several hours at a time.

· Capability to lift and carry trays, dishes, up to 25-50 pounds.

· Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.

· Ability to carry and balance heavy trays with food or beverages.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Ability to climb stairs or maneuver in tight spaces when necessary.

· Requires fine motor skills to handle table settings, glassware, and serving utensils.

· Ability to push, pull, or move carts and other banquet equipment.

· Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Work Location: In person
