    Blazerjobs is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistantsto join a dynamic school district in Oakland, California for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide direct support to students with communication disorders across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plansby conducting therapy sessions, facilitating group activities, and supporting students in developing communication skills.
    • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success in the classroom.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and communication with stakeholders.
    • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives as required.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution.
    • California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
    • Previous experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably as an SLPA.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for addressing communication disorders in school-aged children.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
