- Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plansby conducting therapy sessions, facilitating group activities, and supporting students in developing communication skills.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and communication with stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives as required.
- Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably as an SLPA.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for addressing communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
