    Job Summary:


    The Esports Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a prestigious experiential media production and broadcasting program for students.

    Media production and broadcasting responsibilities include overseeing the creation and broadcast of esports content, recruitment, coaching and management of student teams, event coordination and serving as the main contact for various production aspects of Radford Esports and hosted and external tournaments.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Knowledge and experience with Esports games such as: League of Legends, Valorant, Fortnite, Rocket League, and similar games
    • Demonstrated ability to recruit students, coaching and/or support competitive play
    • Proven and exhibited knowledge of gaming facilities, components and gaming competition
    • In-depth knowledge of competitive, online PC gaming across multiple platforms
    • Ability to create high-quality media content for the forward-facing operation of Radford University Esports
    • In-depth knowledge of live broadcast technology including OBS , Streamlabs, NewTek Tricaster, 3Play Media, vMix
    • In-depth experience with media creation software including Abode products like Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, and Light Room
    • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures
    • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and communication (both oral and written) skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in campus activities and event planning.
    • Experience coaching Rocket League, League of Legends and/or similar games.
    • Proven social media experience with Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Twitch, and Discord
    • Experience running linear-level broadcasting.
