    We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our team

    At CPC, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive business forward. The Finance team keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash influx and collecting payments from clients. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our team to help process, track, and record revenue recognition and invoices in a an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Revenue Accountant will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

    In this position you will:

    • Review client contracts to determine proper revenue recognition.
    • Review monthly job reports and other financial information to create invoices for submission to clients.
    • Update and maintain miscellaneous billing on job reports and ensure reconciliation to general ledger.
    • Participating in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation.
    • Ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Perform invoice data entry to ERP accounts receivable module.
    • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
    • Address and solve client questions and issues.
    • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone and email.
    • Assist in streamlining and improving the revenue recognition and accounts receivable processes.
    • Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
    • Support other accounting and finance team members as needed.

    Here's what you will need to bring to the table:

    • Associate's degree in accounting or similar discipline, bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting roles
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
    • Superb time management and detail orientation
    • Experience with accounting software and online platforms.

    In-office Presence: 100% of time

    Targeted Compensation: $66,000 - $75,000 annually
