    Soaring is a startup drone company spun out of Caltech, utilizing advanced technology to set new standards for heavy-Lift Drones with Precision Delivery. Join us to help cultivate exciting technologies customers will use to revolutionize their operations.

    ABOUT THE JOB:

    As the Vice President of Finance, you will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, budgeting, and risk management. Your strategic insights and leadership will play a critical role in guiding the company's financial decisions and driving sustainable growth.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Preferred: Strong leadership skills and independent learner

    Language Skills: English

    Other: High energy level required

    ● Proven track record of leadership in finance, with at least 12 years of experience in progressively responsible

    roles.

    ● Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and

    communicate insights effectively.

    ● Demonstrated proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

    ● In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

    ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the

    organization.

    ● Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and

    professional growth.

    ● Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to driving value creation for the company.

    ● Experience in aerospace is a plus.

    Key RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals and objectives.

    2. Provide leadership and direction to a part time Accounts Payable, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation,

    and accountability.

    3. Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

    4. Oversee financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and transparency in

    all financial statements.

    5. Optimize capital structure and manage cash flow to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

    6. Evaluate and manage financial risks, identifying potential threats and opportunities to the business.

    7. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function to enhance productivity and

    effectiveness.

    8. Collaborate with other departments, including manufacturing, sales and operations to align financial strategies

    with overall business objectives.

    9. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's

    financial performance.

    10. Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the CEO and board of directors, contributing to informed

    decision-making and effective governance.
