Role:

• Conduct complex health assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate patient care from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up
• Prescribe interventions, perform therapeutic measures, and provide patient education
• Facilitate communication with physicians, caregivers, and patients for continuity of care
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required:

• Master of Science degree in Nursing
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program
• 1-5 years of experience in respective discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in Oncology nursing

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Public speaking and teaching/precepting experience

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

• Current, valid State of Florida Board of Nursing Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
• ACLS, BLS, and/or NRP certifications as required

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Preferred:

• Oncology certifications such as AONC, AOCNP, or CRNI highly preferred

Job Summary:

The APRN at AdventHealth Orlando provides comprehensive primary and acute care services, with prescriptive authority in Florida. Responsibilities include patient care coordination, clinical support, and compliance with regulations.
