    We are seeking a highly motivated

    Process Engineer

    to join the
    AESCProcess Engineering team in

    Florence, SC .

    The selected candidate will be a major contributor to the design, commissioning and maintenance of safe, efficient and cost-effective processes that support EV battery manufacturing.

    Responsible for driving process optimization and troubleshooting by applying solid engineering principles, data analysis and being a subject matter expert in their assigned areas.

    Job Functions
    The following job function statements describe the general nature of work to be performed.

    Works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and EHS to identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement in safety, quality, output, cost.
    Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and makes recommendations for adjustments that will result in operational improvements.
    Performs feasibility studies for process changes and enhancements.
    Drives in-depth root cause analyses and implements corrective measures for process-related challenges, minimizing downtime and improving yield.

    Works with equipment vendors to define new equipment specifications and drive acceptance test completion to support capacity installation and expansion.

    Supports process and design changes and Kaizen improvement activities.
    Creates clear and accurate documentation on work instructions for manufacturing teams to follow.
    Conducts regular safety and process audits.
    Effectively presents work to all levels of the organization.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
    At least 2 years of work experience in battery design or manufacturing.
    Developed problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
    Familiarity with Six-Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing.
    Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills and Data Driven Decision-Making ability.
    Independent, eager to learn, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage simultaneous and often changing priorities.
    Experience in the creation of technical documentation, dashboards, and presentations.
    Desired Qualifications
    Knowledge of Statistical Data Analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, Seeq, other), Power BI and Project Management SW.
    Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Data Analytics methodologies.
    Travel
    Occasional domestic and foreign travel as required. Travel could be frequent and extended in some phases of projects.
