- Assist in all aspects of Federal, State, and Local income/franchise and indirect tax compliance related to domestic operations, including maintenance of the compliance tax calendar, determination of nexus and related filing requirements, management of tax return preparation, and detailed review of all domestic tax returns and estimated tax payments.
- Participate and assist with ASC 740 calculations and related issues for financial statement reporting, including necessary financial statement disclosures.
- Prepare & file personal property tax filings, and other tax filings and reports as needed.
- Respond to tax notices.
- Manage directly outside tax consultants and other third-party relationships. Support and monitor legislative activities and their impact on the company.
- Manage all aspects of Federal, State, and Local income/franchise, sales and use tax, personal property tax audits, and documentation of issues arising under such audits.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the policies and procedures related to compliance with SOX Requirements.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong Accounting skills CPA preferred.
- Strong motivation to meet deadlines and provide high-quality deliverables to management.
- Understanding of Federal, state, and local level tax regulations.
- Working knowledge of ONESOURCE tax preparation preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and other similar computer experiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Base Salary: The expected Base Salary range for this position is between $ per hour, equivalent to $71,500-98,300 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
- Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Companys applicable incentive plan document.

Position Highlights: We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our tax group as a Tax Staff Accountant. As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will participate in the planning, organization, and compliance of Federal and State tax filings, ASC 740 analysis for financial reporting for the domestic operations, personal property returns, and any city & state compliance.
