    About the Position:


    As a Associate Regional Area Manager in our K12 dynamic environment, you'll play a pivotal role in providing strategic direction and operational oversight within the territory.

    You'll lead efforts to achieve financial goals, ensure regulatory compliance, foster client relationships, manage staff, and contribute to the betterment of our communities.


    Essential Responsibilities:

    Client Management:
    Proven experience managing clients at school districts with multiple sites, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with food programs such as NSLP, CACFP, and CEP

    Financial Management:
    Oversee multi-unit P&L, particularly within K-12 compliant food programs, making data-driven decisions to drive profitability

    Team Leadership:
    Develop and manage diverse teams, fostering talent development, and maintaining effective communication to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)

    Sales Support:
    Participate in sales presentations, collaborate with Sales, HR, and Finance teams on proposal development, and contribute to the sales and retention process

    Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    Ensure adherence to USDA, regional, state, and local policies governing meal programs, conduct audits, and implement improvement strategies

    Strategic Planning:
    Collaborate with partners to address district needs, mitigate risks, and drive growth initiatives, with a focus on financial results and P&L accountability

    Community Engagement:
    Represent the brand at client and community events, championing inclusion and fostering a positive cultural tone within the district and region

    RequirementsExperience:
    Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in K-12 multi-unit foodservice, demonstrating leadership in contract management, customer service, people development, and negotiations

    Business Acumen:
    Proven track record in business growth, financial management, and strategic thinking, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite and analytical skills

    Communication Skills:
    Exceptional client relationship management, presentation, and communication skills, with a proactive and resilient approach to problem-solving

    Leadership Qualities:
    Ability to champion inclusion, drive initiatives, demonstrate ownership, and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
