- Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, restorations, and extractions
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and nutrition
- Manage patient behavior using age-appropriate communication and behavior guidance techniques
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation as appropriate and in compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Stay current with continuing education and advancements in pediatric dentistry
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
- Active dental license in SC
- Current CPR/BLS (and PALS if required by practice or state regulations
