    Overview:

    Bayview Medical Center

    Shifts: 10:30am-7:00pm w/routing weekends

    (Flexibility to cover other shifts)

    Responsibilities:

    Cooks the food in the cafeteria

    Transports food to appropriate units or satellite locations according to time delivery schedule.

    Applies heat to appropriate foods and/or chills foods; mixes ingredients following simple instructions; assembles trays for special diets.

    Ensures work areas and equipment is in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition according to established standards.

    Prepares daily assignment sheet two days in advance and submits them to supervisor.

    Able to train new Food Service Worker 1 and Food Service Worker 2 as needed

    Under minimum supervision, performs a wide range of food service duties.
