- The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
- Communicate with Supplier Quality/Engineering/Management concerning parts and issues on line regarding builds that will not line up or work.
- Rework parts as needed to keep the line running & This will include grinding holes, drilling, cutting parts if needed, minor electrical work.
- Must be good at being organized, on time, keeping data and communicating to first shift for issues that may arrive.
- Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
- Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
- Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.
- Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
- MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
- Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
- 1+ year in Quality related position.
- Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
- Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

Shift Hours: 7:30pm-6:30am Monday-Thursday
