    Description

    Do you have a passion for being a part of a healthcare team or a desire to care for those in your own community? Brightstar care is currently hiring Caregivers to support a Veteran client with medical needs in his home.

    Duties will include light housekeeping, support with ADL's, safety supervision, and social/emotional wellness support. The Schedule is expected to expand as client/family needs change but will begin with about 16-20 hrs. per week. *What We Offer:

We also offer client-specific skill enhancement opportunities in the home when indicated. Necessary personal protective equipment is provided so that you can feel confident and safe when you care for your clients. *Requirements:
    • 1 year of homecare and dementia care experience required
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification. (in house classes are offered at a reduced rate)
    • Recent wellness exam and negative TB skin test (provided if needed)
    • Ability to pass a comprehensive fingerprint/background check and drug screening.
    • Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
    • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
    Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
