    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Engineering is seeking Project Engineers (Subject Matter Expert) located in Dallas, TX.

    The selected candidates will support the BGS-C program, which will integrate with spares aftermarket in the Commercial division. These positions will be the bridge between Supply Chain and Engineering, leading internal/external alignment, risk management and supplier support. This team will proactively execute improvement initiatives generating a step change in performance for supplier engineering, quality, and delivery performance. Responsibilities also include driving supply chain stability by resolving emergent supplier/supply chain issues impacting supply chain execution requiring cross enterprise integration. The project engineer will be responsible for coordination, development, and implementation of engineering projects and will include proposal responsibilities in areas pertaining to work movement, analytics, supplier of concern and fleet team engagement.

    Position Responsibilities – Focus areas (Work Placement, Fleet team engagement, Analytics, RCRs, CRCs, Supply Chain health)

    • Cost avoidance-provide engineering oversight/coordination/consistency for supplier evaluation
    • Cost avoidance-support requirements consumption reviews for complex parts
    • Develop standard reporting templates for integration from supply chain to BGS engineering to customer
    • Interact with fleet team to understand top issues
    • Run recurring weekly KPI reviews
    • Attend any fleet team workshops/large meetings
    • Commercial Reliability CRCs
    • Coordinate work placement activities across RAAs
    • Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics
    • Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program
    • Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
    • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
    • Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
    • 3+ years of engineering project planning or project management
    • Supply chain experience in aerospace, defense or other industrial industries
    • 3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
    • 3+ years of experience interacting with business partners and customers

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally (engineering, program management, modification team, and/or finance) and across multiple business units (BDS, BGS, BAO, etc.)

    Typical Education/ Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Summary pay range: $122,400 - $165,600
