    Primary Job Description:
    Responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance equipment. This includes preventative and reactive maintenance for all production & supporting equipment.

    Chief Engineer


    Detailed Description:
    Primary DutiesPerform preventative maintenance per schedule and as needed.
    Provide feedback, updates and notes using company software when maintenance is completed.
    Maintain adequate and organized parts inventory and log all inventory items used.
    Troubleshoot, support & repair of equipment.
    Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and what is needed for stock inventory. Communicate same to Chief Engineer.
    Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
    Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
    Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines. Must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
    Organize, and maintain and clean the tool room so that it is work friendly and safe.
    Responsible for on time startup and/or shutdown of the facility.
    Follow all OSHA and Company safety precautions.
    QualificationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    Strong electrical diagnostics skills.
    Experience with motor wiring, VFD, PLC, and associated components.
    Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
    Must be able safely and accurately operate stick welding equipment.
    Experience in OSHA and general safety guidelines to effectively follow instructions and train others.
    Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
    Able to manage multiple tasks and identify priorities based on production needs, and easily adapt to changing situations.
    Strong teamwork skills - ready and willing to work closely with team members.
    Open to and able to work 1st or 2nd shift, and willing to rotate shifts depending on need.

    Open to long hours and working weekends if needed (Saturday, Sunday).Must have basic hand tools - sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeter, etc.

    Ability to effectively communicate (both written and oral).Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkHours of operation mostly include Sunday through Saturday during suggested and agreed upon hours.

    Required ExperienceMinimum 3 years industrial/commercial maintenance experienceExperience in OSHA and general safety guidelines to effectively follow instructions and train others.
