- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
- Average daily census of 5 7 in summer and 7 10 in winter (combination of newborn nursery and inpatient)
- Round on unassigned newborns in newborn nursery (no NICU or Level 2 nursery responsibilities), circumcisions, ED and direct admissions of pediatric age patients, ED consultation when requested
- No delivery attendance required.
- Tertiary hospitals located 90 miles North and South with visiting subspecialists
- Average 10 shifts per month in 3 4 day increments with balanced weekend and holiday coverage
- In house hours from 7:30 a.
- Flexibility in schedule exists within group
- Opportunities for QI initiatives, hospital committee involvement and advanced Epic certifications if desired
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
