    PROJECT ENGINEER

    REPORTING TO:
    Director, Transportation Projects


    MANAGERIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    NA

    LOCATION:
    Peachtree Corners, GA


    PURPOSE:
    To assist in the direction of technical and sub-contract resources to fulfill NAC's project and overhead obligations.


    SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
    The incumbent is responsible for supporting Transportation Projects staff on assigned projects and proposal activities.


    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1.


    Prepare necessary support documentation for assigned projects, including design and procurement specifications, purchase orders, operating and maintenance manuals, and fabrication and test procedures.

    2.

    Interface with other internal work groups to support cask and site operations equipment design and engineering analyses.
    3.

    Responsible for cask and other site operations associated with the assigned project.
    4.

    Assist in the preparation of proposals needed for on-going and new business activities.
    5.


    Assist in developing project management documentation and briefing materials, including overall progress and status reports, for the customer and Company management.

    6.

    Provide support for proposal and marketing activities.

    OB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:
    1.

    Bachelor's degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering or a related technical science field, or equivalent experience.
    2.

    Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the nuclear industry preferred.
    3.

    Strong customer service focus and ability to work well with a team working towards targeted deadlines.
    4.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills in addition to strong interpersonal skills.
    5.

    This position requires short and long-term domestic and international travel.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    1.

    Ability to articulate clearly and conduct oral presentations in English.
    2.

    Ability to travel via automobile and/or internationally via airplane.
    3.

    Ability to view video display terminal images
