    In this role we are looking for a Project Controls Analyst to help support project managers with cost forecasting and accruals.

    You will be supporting a number of different programs as it pertains to dams, watersheds, penstocks and power houses (supporting mechanical, electrical and civil related work).

    Biggest area of emphasis is ensuring all cost analysis and forecasting on spend is accurate and up to date.


    We need this person to assist in validating invoices by taking companies data / work authorizations and marrying that feedback from vendors of what they complete.


    Other Responsibilities will include:
    Implement planning, review, control, startup execution and closeout processes and engage in process improvement activities.

    Assist project leads as needed to obtain management approval of projects and budgets, including independently drafting and developing project authorization requests, cost estimates, economic analyses, project justification, and other supporting documents some direction from project lead and other team members

    Revise, monitor and exercise configuration control of contract and project documents. Analyze and trend cost and schedule variances against authorized and budgeted cost plans.

    Audit existing expenditure and ensure billed costs are aligned suitably.

    Guarantee project contract implementation and support project path, plan and schedule.

    Support briefing and product development with senior management.

    Oversee measurement reports content and manage backup data and project summary.

    Guarantee data overtime consistency and adapt report content to practices of accelerating project maturity.

    Handle status reports and management reviews.

    Track project configuration and associated documentation such as recovery, archive and master documentation repository duties.

    Manage records of release documents and identify required release documents.

    Engage in new business proposals to develop manpower and cost estimates.

    Develop and execute reporting procedures to present project status and work valuation and track contract deliverables.

    Develop and present program level project performance reviews.

    Required Skills & Experience
    -5+ years of Project Controls / Cost Analysis / Financial Analyst experience

    • Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, V Look Ups)
    • Understand how to find discrepancies and plan for cost savings, accuracy
    • Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Ability to go in office on an as needed basis
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    • Experience with SAP (completing budget and reporting within this tool)
    • Experience with Primavera (P6)
    • Experience with Business Objects (BO)
    • Construction background
