    Job Description
    Insight Global is looking for a Unit Supervisor in Windsor Mill, MD. The preferred individual will have over two years of experience working with youth, preferably within the ages of 9-12.

    This individual will be overseeing a team of 3 Youth Care Professionals per shift and responsible for 12 children at a time.

    As a Unit Supervisor, this individual will be tasked with scheduling staff in the unit to ensure all shifts are fully staffed according to state licensing.

    The Unit Supervisor will need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of unit systems, and effectively oversee their completion. They will be responsible for spending time on the floor supporting the YCP with the children. Responsibilities include making sure they are engaged in activities and other daily task are completed. They will need to complete all paperwork and reports are documents correctly. Overall, the preferred candidate will have strong problem solving and leadership skills. They will be flexible and have a team player mentality to aid in training other staff.

    Schedule:
    Front End (Sunday - Thursday)

    • 2 Days - 2PM-10PM
    • 2 Days - 9AM-5PM
    • 1 Day - 11AM - 7PM
    Candidates will have the flexibility to choose how they want to arrange their schedule based off the hours.

    Skills and Requirements
    Bachelors Degree in related field (Masters preferred)
    Billingual in English/Spanish
    2+ years of experience working with youth, preferably immigration, child welfare, or social services
    2+ years of experience supervising a team of Direct Care Professionals, Youth Care Professionals, Case Managers
    Understanding of trauma informed care principles and working with diverse populations
    Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
    Comfortable with working long hours when necessary null
