    is looking for a Senior Security Specialistto assist the Department of Defense

    Position is subject to contract award and location is TBD DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Security Specialist duties include, but are not limited to:


    • The contractor shall manage and facilitate all visitor access (facilities access) to for approximately 2,500 students and 500 visitors per year.
    • The contractor shall inform leadership of security concerns/issues, verify security clearances/access levels for all students and visitors,
    • Coordinate with other agencies as needed to perform duties, provide security briefings to all students during class orientation, and manage the student account process (requesting, disseminating, and facilitating IT support for troubleshooting issues).
    • The contractor shall retrieve building access and student access area badges and provide them to students, and issue parking passes and building access/student access badges to students on each class start date.
    • The contractor, as directed, shall advocate, review, and update security policies and guidance, address staff or student security access issues, and maintain and change security combinations.
    • The contractor shall conduct activities for staff, guest speakers, and student indoctrination and debriefing for Sensitive Compartmented Information, provide clearance support for part-time personnel supporting program courses, collaborate with program registrar personnel to validate student rosters, and facilitate passing of staff clearances to other agencies.
    • Might drive and/or be a passenger in a U.S
    government vehicle including purchased, leased, and/or rented when supporting the mission
    Qualifications


    • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
    • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in security or similar role.
    • The contractor shall also display knowledge and experience using systems to verify security clearances/access levels for personnel, possess excellent oral communication skills, and have the ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical activities simultaneously
    • Holding and maintaining valid state driver's license.
