If this sounds like the position for you, we would love to hear from youJob ResponsibilitiesProvide a wide range of tax advisory services to a variety of clients (Industries may include but not be limited to manufacturing, professional services, construction & architecture.
Assists in planning and running engagements.
Responds to client requests and corresponds with clients to meet deliverable deadlines.
Conduct tax research and develop written memorandums to support tax positions.
Schedules and conducts informational gathering interviews with clients.
Obtains and organizes documentation obtained from the client.
Candidates should be growth-motivated and supportive of teams growth goals and expectations.
Drafts technical reports and correspondence.
Assists with taxing authority audit defense.

Gathers, formats, and analyzes large volumes of accounting cost data; and creates large complex calculation databases using Excel and/or Access.

Analyzes expenses for qualification and quantification under IRC Sections 174 and 41.Prepares R&D credit calculations and R&D deliverables.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EducationBachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other relevant field.
ExperienceThree (3) or more years of R&D Tax credits or tax compliance, required.
Experience interacting and working directly with C-level personnel preferred.
SoftwareProficient with Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
Other Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesCapable of wearing many hats.
Experience with Professional Services such as Law Firms or Engineering Firms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically business-related written communications.
Ability to interact with and adapt communication style to successfully convey messaging and objectives to all levels of management.
Exhibits executive presence, intellectual curiosity and analytical thinking.
Capable of initiating and maintaining solid relationships with all levels of client personnel.

Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment independently and within a team dynamic while effectively managing unexpected issues and/or questions in a professional manner.

Ability to maintain discretion regarding the highly confidential nature of information.
Excellent project completion skills with ability to produce quality work with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to accommodate minimum travel, if required by project.
