    Redhat Linux Support Engg

    The Linux support engineer role will be responsible for administration of Linux servers used by Hadoop application


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools
    • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Oracle Linux 7 and Red Hat Linux 8 servers in Big Data Hadoop clusters and Database Linux servers.
    • Maintaining Linux servers in the AWS and GCP clouds.
    • Deploying and configuring container images using Docker and Kubernetes clusters in collaboration with the project's managers, engineers, network teams, and infrastructure teams.
    • Troubleshooting and replacing hardware failure in Bare metal Linux servers across different data centers in USA.
    • Developing new processes to streamline Big Data Hadoop environment.
    • Automating day-to-day activities with Ansible.

    Key Qualifications:


    • Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts
    • Excellent problem solving abilities
    • Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time
    • Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)
    • Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools

    Experience and Education:


    • 3+ years related experience
    • Certified Linux Admin preferred
