    Description

    Responsible for the preparation of the cold food items for patient meal service following the standardized recipes or established standards (Desserts, Salads, Modified diet salad and dessert items, Beverages).

    Work on the patient tray line setting up the cold food items and condiments on patient trays.

    Able to deliver patient trays to appropriate floors and units.

    Able to prepare and deliver any/all between meal feedings, snacks, and late trays.

    Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of the workstation following established procedures.

    Responsible for completing assigned cleaning for prep area.

    Follows established guidelines for safe food handling by maintaining cold food items at or below 40 degrees F.

    Follows the department and hospital safety procedures.
