    Secmation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Software Engineer with expertise in developing software for complex systems, such as defense, medical devices, automotive, and robotics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, implementing, and testing security solutions for these systems.

    Job Description

    As a member of the Secmation software product development team, you will work closely with our engineering teams to develop cybersecurity engineering tools, advanced simulation, self-driving vehicles, and protection of AI/ML software. Your knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and vulnerabilities will enable you to design and develop software that protects systems from modern threats.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop software solutions that implement advanced cybersecurity technologies to protect autonomous, intelligent systems.
    • Work with our engineering teams to design, develop, implement, and test cybersecurity engineering tools and advanced simulation.
    • Contribute to products that extend the state-of-the-art in defense and industrial cybersecurity technologies.
    • Design, develop, implement, and test security solutions for embedded devices.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of progressive work experience in embedded software development, targeting ARM or similar architectures and various platforms.
    • Knowledge of computer and network security principles, including cryptography and intrusion prevention.
    • Strong C/C++ programming skills with design and implementation of security controls across different development platforms.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter or part of a small team.
    • U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance due to contractual requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Progressive experience developing and implementing computer and network security systems using Linux and real-time operating systems.
    • Detailed knowledge of security features in operating systems, hypervisors, computing architectures, and System On Chip (SoC) devices.
    • Security+, CISSP, or similar security certifications.
