Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist is responsible for accurate and timely compounding, labeling, and/or filling of medications.

The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for additional tasks including stocking, cleaning, inventory control, competency assessment and other duties as assigned.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire and/or transfer into the position. Pharmacy technician is required to obtain licensure by registering with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
