    This is a full-time position that works Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm. The starting pay rate is $15 per hour depending on education and experience. This position is onsite supporting childcare location: 4000 S.     The Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive classroom, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities students in care. The Preschool Teacher should possess high energy and be able to work well with staff, students, and parents. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with and in an energetic environment and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children ages 3 years old.

    What You'll Do:


    • Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards

    • Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching

    • Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth

    • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

    • Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met

    What We Need from You:


    • High School Diploma and/or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study

    • FL DCF 45 hours required and CDA preferred

    • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of professional early childhood education or experience

    • Must clear a full level II DCF background check

    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills

    • Previous Headstart / Early Headstart experience is a plus

    • Bilingual is a plus
